Abstract

Today's competitive world and economy is heavily dependent on electrical energy. Since electricity cannot be stored and producing more or less than the required needs may lead to some losses. Hence time planning and the amount of produced electrical energy at different times of day and night are one of the topics of electricity production. In this paper, an energy management system is provided for a standard Micro Grid, which in addition to the upstream distribution grid; it has a variety of production and storage technology. Planning is done with the aim of minimizing the cost function and environmental emissions by considering various technical provisions. To achieve the aforementioned goals, a multi-objective particle swarm optimization algorithm is used (MOPSO). Simulation results show the superiority of the MOPSO algorithm than the other algorithms.
