The effect of Ethanol Extract of Peganum and Chili on Pain in Small Male Mice

Abstract


Background is antibacterial herbs and chili in traditional medicine to treat various diseases and relieve some of the pain. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of ethanol extracts of each herb and chili and also the effect of oral administration of antibacterial compounds the pain in mice using the formalin test. Methods: Male albino were divided in four groups: control, extract group Ethanol antibacterial, Receive chili extract, the group receiving the combination of the extract Antibacterial and chili, and data were collected from all groups formalin test using Graph Pad Prism 5 statistical software was analyzed. Findings: group receiving antibacterial, chili and combined extract significant difference compared with control group (p> 0.05) expected composition of the extract analgesic effect is stronger than the other two but the result is not prescribed analgesic effect of the combination of the two in the other two groups. Conclusion: antibacterial and chili extract over 35 days reduces formalin-flick response in two phases: acute and chronic.
