Çavuşçu Lake Benthic Algae

Abstract


In this study, conducted in April 2010- March 2011, in the samples taken from various habitats (epipelic, epifitic and apilitic) and certain five stations,  Çavuşçu Lake bentik algae have been examined. Çavuşçu Lake Benthic Algae consist of 111 alga kinds belonging to Orchrophyta, Charophyta, Chlorophyta, Cyanobacteria and Euglenozoa. In Çavuşçu Lake, generally, the members of Ochrophyta have been the dominant organism group.
