Abstract

Abstract

Rapidly increasing energy needs of countries used of fossil-derived oil, coal and natural gas led to an increase in the depletion of energy and environment pollutions. In this case, researches have investigated alternative energy sources. Therefore, production of renewable energy sources is increasing day by day. One of the most important renewable energy sources is biodiesel. The aim of this study is to explore how the ecosystem service approach can be used to understand and assess the effect of biodiesel production and use on the environment.
