Abstract

Because of being a linear programming technique, studying of statistical properties of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) are very difficult. Recently, incidence of inefficiency is very popular subject which let the researches study of the statistical properties of DEA by investgating the incidence of inefficiency as a variable. In this study, emprical distribution of incidence of inefficiency is investgated for different pair of DMUs, input and output cases to show the distributional structure of incidence of inefficiency both in rule of tumb and non-rule of tumb cases.
